Music Deaths: Brian Carman (Chantays) and Jimmy Greenspoon (Three Dog Night)

BRIAN CARMAN, 69.  Died March 1, 2015.  Rhythm guitarist with the Chantays and co-writer of instrumental hit "Pipeline."  This song was originally called "Liberty's Whip" after the Lee Marvin character in the movie "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence."  But it was renamed because of the surfing wave.  Was #4 in 1963.

JIMMY GREENSPOON, 67 Died March 11, 2015.  Keyboardist with Three Dog Night  Played on 11 Top Ten records, including "Mama Told me Not to Come," "Joy to the World" and "Black & White."
