Died 27 June 2020

Guitar player, session musician who played with the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section.

An early friend of Duane Allman.  Played guitar on five #1 singles:

"If Lovin' You Is Wrong" by Luther Ingram

"Tonight's the Night" by Rod Stewart

"Torn Between Two Lovers" by Mary MacGregor

"Woman in Love" by Barbra Streisand

"What Kind of Fool" by Barbra Streisand

Others he worked with:  Joan Baez, Bob Seger, Joe Cocker, Boz Skaggs, Paul Simon, Staple Singers, Wilson Pickett and Hank Williams Jr.
