On June 25, 2017, Bob Stroud devoted his Rock and Roll Roots show on Chicago's Drive, 97.1 FM to songs to get us in the mood for this summer, which started earlier that week.  These are the songs he played.

Welcome Summer 2017 (Officially): Summer Songs


Yesterday, Bob Stroud on Chicago's Classic Rock Station WDRV, 93.1 FM, the Drive, got a jump on Summer 2017 on his Ten at Ten show.  He said that summer officially arrives here in the Chicagoland area at 11:27 (or was it 11:47 p.m).
