MEATLOAF, 74
Died 20 January 2022
Singer (rock / pop) who had the 1977 hit album "Bat Out of Hell."
One of my favorites. I'll never forget doing that duet with the gal bartender down on Bourbon Street in New Orleans of "Paradise By the Dashboard Light."
Born Marvin Lee Aday in 1951.
"Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" (#11-1978)
"Paradise By the Dashboard Light" (#39-1978)
"You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth" (#39-1979)
"I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" (#1-1993)
Somewhat bombastic but always fun and entertaining.
