Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Music Deaths: Glenn Frey

GLENN FREY, 67  Died Jan. 18, 2016.

Guitarist, songwriter and vocalist with the Eagles.  Born in Detroit.  Was in several bands before the Eagles and played on Bob Seger's "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man."  Moved to Los Angeles after that.

There, he worked with J.D. Souther and met Randy Meisner, Bernie Leadon and Don Henley who were hired as Linda Ronstadt's touring backup band.  In 1971, they formed the Eagles.  Frey sang lead on most of the band's hits, and there sure were a lot of them.

Including my favorite Eagles song, "Take It Easy."
