George's "Other" Birthday Today

From Neatorama "A Few Things You Might Not Know About George Harrison" by Miss Cellania.

Today, while listening to WXRT this morning, Lin Braehmer and Mary Dixon talked a bit about the confusion over George Harrison's birthday, but said they, and the radio station were going to celebrate it today.  It will be interesting to see which day major Beatles fan Terri Hemmert considers to be the "Day."

We do know for sure George's death on November 29, 2001, of lung cancer.

Anyway, here is a list of some things you might not know about George.

**  George's favorite color was purple, loved Formula One Racing, egg sandwiches and watching Monty Python on TV.

**  His favorite movie was Mel Brooks' "The Producers" (1967).

**  Birthday:  For most of his life, George thought it to be February 25, 1943, and that is the way it is listed in most Beatle books and magazines.  But near the end of his life, he changed it to February 24.  However, a family document says he was born at 11:50 p.m. on February 24, 1943.
