Music Deaths: Lynn Evans Mann of the Chordettes
LYNN EVANS MANN, 95
Died 6 February 2020
Joined the Chordettes in 1952, right before they went big time.
Known for their catchy tunes like "Mr. Sandman", "Never on Sunday" (#13-1961) and "Lollipop" (#2-1958) In 1954, "Mr. Sandman" spent 20 weeks on the charts as well as 7 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard.
They also had hits with:
"Eddie My Love" (#14-1956)
"Born To be With You" (#5-1956)
"Just Between You and Me" (#8-1957)
