WLS Top 40 for Week of April 13, 1970-- Part 4: "Celebrate"
25. HITCHING A RIDE-- Vanity Fare #5 And all these years I thought they were Vanity Fair. One great pop song. Near the end of the hitching day. Follow-up to #12 "Early in the Morning."
24. CELEBRATE-- Three Dog Night #15 One of the best-ever bands That's harmony and blue-eyed soul. We can sure use some of this in these days. One of the songs that used to play a lot when I'd go over to the Barn in Grant Towers or New Orleans in Stevenson Towers at NIU.
23. THE BELLS-- Originals #12 A great belly rubbin' song. Written and produced by Marvin Gaye. They also had a #14 with "Baby, I'm for Real."
22. WHICH WAY YOU GOIN' BILLY-- Poppy Family #2 Featuring Susan Jacks, the perfect 60s girl. From Canada.
21. LITTLE GREEN BAG-- George Baker Selection #22 A unique, fun song. They also did "Paloma Blanca." Dutch group.
