Music Deaths: Country Songwriter Claude "Curly" Putman

CLAUDE "CURLY" PUTMAN, 85  Died October 30, 2016.

Country songwriter best known for writing or co-writing tunes like Tom Jones' "Green Green Grass of Home,"  Tammy Wynette's "D-I-V-O-R-C-E"  and George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today."

Kind of a writer of downer songs.

He also wrote "My Elusive Dreams," "Blood Red and Going Down" and "It's a Cheating Situation."
