What Are the Most Valuable College Sports Conferences in 2016?

From the October 21, 2016, Cheat Sheet by Jason Alsher.

This is just based on revenue streaming from football playoffs and bowl payouts, NCAA Basketball prize money and media rights deals.  It doesn't take into account smaller revenue streams like souvenirs, shirts, etc..

#5  ACC   $328 million, $21,900,000 per school

#4  Pac-12    $351 million, $29,300,000 per school

#3  Big 12    $302 million,  $30.2 million per school

#2  Big 10 (11,12,13,14)    $431 million,  $30.8 million per school

#1  SEC    $515 million,   $36.8 million per school.

It would be interesting to know what the MAC gets?

No Big Surprises Here.  The Rich Get Richer, While Conferences Like the MAC and Sun belt Get the Scraps... Maybe.  --Roaddog
