STEVE MARTIN CARO, 71

Died January 14, 2020

Lead singer with pop group baroque group Left Banke who had 1966 hit single with "Walk Away Renee."  Went by the name Steve Martin while with the group, but later added his family name so as to avoid confusion with the comedian.

Big hits:

"Walk Away Renee" (#5-1966)
"Pretty Ballerina"  (#15-1967)

They sure had a sound like no other group.
