Bert Russell (AKA Bert Berns): "Twist & Shout" Songwriter Died Today, 47 Years Ago

I was looking at ye Olde Disc Jockey site this morning and saw that songwriter, producer Bert Russell (a.k.a. Bert Berns) died December 30, 1967.  I have been writing about his song "Twist & Shout."

besides that song, he wrote a lot of others and produced many as well.  Here is a partial list of songs he had a lot to do with during his much-too-short life.
