Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Nothing Like A Summer Around Here-- Part 4: $1 Burgers, Cheap Beer and a Band

SUNDAY, JULY 15

Enjoyed the FP (Front Porch) as I do most every morning of the week, eating breakfast, drinking coffee and reading the Chicago Tribune print edition.  After a lot of yardwork we went to Stuckey's in Johnsburg and enjoyed their $1.50 pints and $1 burger and home made chips.  We went outside for awhile and listened to the band Token Ace.

We sure enjoy listening to bands outside during the summer.

Afterwards, we went to Sunnyside Tap and enjoyed talking with friends, drinking ice cold beer for $1.25 during happy hour and seeing who could put the best songs on the jukebox.

Came home and sat out in the gazebo.
