This past Sunday, March 21, Bob Stroud played songs on his Rock and Roll Roots show on Chicago's WDRV, 97.1 FM, the Drive, about this most wondrous time of the year, when the dandelions make ready for their annual assault, and, I understand this year, the Chicago area is in for a return visit of our 17-year cicadas.
I'll make this into a challenge and just give you the name of the song. You guess who sang it.
Here we go!!
1. Sugar Magnolia
2.. Daisy Jane
3. Pictures of Lily
4. Garden Party
5. Coming Up
6. Octopus' Garden
7. Dead Flowers
8. San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair)
9. Scarlet Begonia
10. Dandelion
11. Spring Fever
12. Let It Grow
