Another Chain of Lakes Weekend-- Part 2

SATURDAY, JULY 19TH:  Saw the tail end of the annual McHenry County Tractor Trek as it went through Spring Grove and across US-12.  There had to be at least several hundred mostly old tractors.

Then, we went to Veteran's Park in McHenry for their Art in the Park, part of Fiesta Days.  The streets were closed and we saw three bands playing at different places.

Later, we went to the American Legion in Fox Lake to watch Ron Payton playing music.

SUNDAY, JULY 20TH:  We had to make the choice of going to Antioch to see the Beatles tribute band American English playing during the village's Taste of Summer or to McHenry for their Fiesta Days parade.  We decided on the latter and it was one of the best parades we've seen.  Even a high school marching band, something you don't often see during the summer.  There were several bands on floats and particularly liked the one where the band was dressed as clowns and playing 60s music.  The Crystal Lake Strikers drum corps was also fun.

Then, we went to Captain's Quarters on Fox Lake and saw the Hat Band.
