Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Another Good Weekend-- Part 2: Another Bar, Another Festival, More Bands

JULY 12TH, SATURDAY:  Threatened to rain pretty much all day and eventually did.  In the afternoon, we went next door to the neighbors for a 92nd birthday party for the former owner, the father of the woman.  He lived in the Netherlands during the German occupation during World War II and later moved to the U.S. and opened a nursery.  They lived next to us for about fifteen years.

Afterwards, we went to Captain's Quarters and saw the band called "Phidgett.

JULY 13TH, SUNDAY:  We went to All Sports in McCullom Lake for their $5 pizza and pitchers, then met the Usual Suspects at McHenry's Fiesta Days celebration at Peterson Park by the lake.  We saw the excellent cover bands Heartache Tonight (Eagles) and American English (Beatles).   We've seen both several times.  American English plays three sets (early, Sgt. Pepper's and later Beatles) and were in the  middle of a busy day, having played in Chicago earlier, here, and later in Itasca.

We left near the end of the Sgt. Pepper's Beatles set to go to Captain's Quarters to see one of out favorite bands, Soda.  Stopped at Antonio's on the way home.

Too Much Fun.  --RoadDog
