Beware of Mattrephobia and Mattrecide

One thing I can surely tell  you about dealing with used mattresses in the state of North Carolina.  DON'T!!!!

There is a severe case of Mattrephobia permeating the state.  That would be fear of all things pertaining to used mattresses.  That is illegal.  That is no organization like Goodwill or Salvation Army that will take them.

And, then there is the clear threat of Mattrecide, the perceived belief that even touching a used mattress could lead to a sudden and painful death.

Perhaps some people have over reacted to the bedbug crisis?
