Every Blooming THing, Early Spring 2017: Here Comes the Color!!

Spring has sprung.  All this rain and we're getting April flowers.  My goal is to have color from flowers throughout the year, and we are sure getting it right now.

Some of the tulips have opened up, but all the daffodils are brilliant yellow (and I have hundreds of them).  The hyacinths are blooming as well as are several other flowers that I don't know the name.  Creeping phlox is also coming into bloom.

The two remaining Bradford pear trees are white as is the weeping cherry pink.  One of the pear trees lost about half of it in a big windstorm last fall.  And speaking of wind, I have been doing a lot of limb and twig pickup from that fall storm as well as some storms earlier this month.

I have been doing a lot of mum and daisy transplanting the last two weeks and yesterday cut the grass for the first time.

Always Love This Time of the Year.  Plus, the Garden Centers Are Opening Up!!  --RoadDog
