WLS Top 40 for April 14, 1967-- Part 2: "Tell It To My Face"

35.  CAN'T SEEM TO MAKE YOU MINE--  Seeds    #41   Los Angeles Garage Rock group.   Psychedelic music doesn't get any better than this.

34.  BUY FOR ME--  Nitty Gritty Dirt Band   (D)   #45   Full name of song "Buy For Me the Rain."  Their biggest pop hit other than "Mr. Bojangles" (#9-1970)

33.  TELL IT TO MY FACE--  Keith    #37  Real name James Berry Keefer.   The song had sort of an Arabic feel to it.

32.  SWEETS FOR MY SWEET--   Riddles    Did not rank.  Again, this was WLS playing a Chicago band.

31.  DETROIT CITY--  Tom Jones    #27  Early in his career, he went by the name  Tommy Scott.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "From The Letters That I Write They Think I'm Fine."  --RoadDog

"Detroit City"
