Music Deaths: Songwriter "Ritchie Adams"
RICHARD ADAMS "RITCHIE ADAMS" ZIEGLER, 71
Died March 6, 2017.
Lead singer with the Fireflies on "You Were Mine" (#21-1959) and writer of such songs as Bobby Lewis' "Tossin' and Turnin'" (#1-1961) and Englebert Humperdink's "Afterthe Lovin'" (#8-1977) as well as many songs by Olivia Newton-John.
