"There's A Snow Shovel In Your Boat"

Not words you'd expect to hear from your boat mechanic.  Really.

But, that was what my boat mechanic Mike said when I went over to Lupo's Marina off Bluff Lake in the Chain of Lakes in Illinois on Saturday to pick up my boat.

And, there was a snow shovel in the boat.  I had taken the boat home from winter storage in Hebron at the end of April and then we had a really, really rainy May.   Water kept accumulating on the mooring cover and I had to put some snow shovels into the boat to hold up the cover.

But, with our weather, you never know when you'll need those snow shovels.
