Heartland Rock. Very popular around Cleveland and Midwest.
Had seven songs reach Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The highest one was "He Can't Love You" in 1981. Also had a #39 with "My Town" in 1983.
That's some good rock and roll. Reminds me a lot of Huey Lewis & the News.
