Music Deaths: Leon Rausch of Bob Wills & Texas Playboys

Died May 14, 2019
Was the voice of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. He was the lead vocalist on all those Western Swing Music songs by the band from the 1950s into the 1960s.
After Bob Wills died in 1975, Mr. Rausch continued to tour.
Western Swing Music was recognized as Texas' official state music in 2011.
