Just a mere fifty years ago.  A drop in the bucket.

15.  *OH BABE, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY--  Hurricane Smith      #3    Norman Smith.  Kind of a throwback to music from the 30s.  Had engineered several Beatles albums.    His only Top 40.

14.  *DON'T LET ME BE LONELY TONIGHT--  James Taylor      #14     Could this guy get any more mellow?

13.  IT NEVER RAINS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA--  Albert Hammond     #5     Also a songwriter.  Cowrite "Little Arrows" and "Gimme Dat Thing."  Wrote "When I Need You" for Leo Sayer and "The Air That I Breathe" for the Hollies.

12.  WHY CAN'T WE LIVE TOGETHER--  Timmy Thomas      #3    Loved the organ.    "No more wars?"  Wouldn't that be loverly?   From Evansville, Indiana.

11.  SUPERFLY--  Curtis Mayfield      #8      If this ain't soul, I don't know what is.   From the movie "Superfly."  This is the second Top Ten he had from the movie.  The other was "Freddie's Dead"  #4.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "Do Me Wrong, Do Me Right, Tell Me Lies, But Hold Me Tight."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
