One Mighty Cool Spring for a Global Warming

Overall, this has not been a great spring around northeast Illinois.  And, that is after one REALLY, REALLY COLD WINTER.  We actually had temps in the upper 70s over last weekend (and were of the opinion that the Round Lake Spring Carnival Jinx might, at long last, be over).

However, the rain storms came late Sunday afternoon and we haven't been over 60 degrees since.  Even worse, we've had some huge rain storms and it is raining right now with high predicted at 55 degrees.  Tomorrow 52 degrees.

Perhaps we need to come up with a new, more appropriate name for this ballyhooed Global Warming.  Maybe something along the lines of GW, Much Colder Than You'd Think.
