JSS: Snow & Frost-- Camp Grant-- Chain Crawl KickOff

JSS--  Just Some Stuff.

1.  SNOW & FROST--  What's with this the last two mornings?  And that mean old Round Lake carnival is gone.  Who to blame a smattering of snow reported in McHenry County yesterday morning (not here though).  Last night, I brought in the plants I had bought and not yet planted.  Where's all this cold coming from?  All that G.W.?

2.  CAMP GRANT--  At 9:30 AM, I'll be at the Fox Lake/Grant Township Historical Society's presentation on World War II's Camp Grant out in Rockford where so many Army medics trained.  Should be quite interesting and I have written about it in my World War II blog.

3.  CHAIN CRAWL KICKOFF--  Today, despite the low temps and Chain-wide No-Wake (our boat, though, is still in the barn out in Hebron), the annual Chain Crawl kicks off with stops at four different places this afternoon and then at 7 PM, the band starts at Captain's Quarters.

Good Times in the Area Despite the Cold.  --RoadDog
