Music Deaths: "Malcom "Molly" Duncan of Average White Band
MALCOM "MOLLY" DUNCAN, 74
Died 8 October 2019
Played saxophone on their 1975 instrumental hit "Pick Up the Pieces." Scottish tenor saxophonist and founding member of Average White Band.
Recorded with Ray Charles, Tom Petty, Buddy Guy, Ben E. King. Dire Straits and Bryan Ferry. Also played live with Eric Clapton, Marvin Gaye and Chaka Khan.
