Get Ready for the Summer of '75-- Part 2: "Beautiful Loser"

Only 40 years ago these tunes were playing in your radio or on your stereo (as in phonograph).

TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS--  Doobie Brothers   Album called Stampede.  First single was an old Motown song.  (Kim Weston #50 in 1965.)
SHINING STAR--  Earth Wind & Fire  Pretty much our first taste of this great horn band.
TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT--  Led Zeppelin--  From Physical Graffiti.

LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAN SAID--  Paul McCartney & Wings from album Venus and Mars just released about three weeks earlier.
NO NO SONG--  Ringo Starr  (Stroud always plays two Beatle songs at 8 a.m., the same time that Terri Hemmert starts her Breakfast With the Beatles show on WXRT.
DON'T CALL US (WE'LL CALL YOU)  Sugar Loaf  It's been a few years since we heard from them.  (Green Eyed Lady)

ONLY WOMEN BLEED--  Alice Cooper  Welcome to My Nightmare his latest album.
BEAUTIFUL LOSER--  Bob Seger  One release better than the next back then.  Title track  from his latest, the rocker out of Detroit, Michigan.

"I'm Tired of Waking Up On the Floor."  --RoadStarr
