Watching the "Star-Spangled Banner" sung this past Sunday before the Bear-Seahawk game was definitely not your same old-same-old.
We had a taste of Blackhawk mania on the frozen turf of Soldiers Field.
It was LOUD and it was RAUCOUS!!!
And the singer, Jim Cornelison, who sings the national anthem before each Blackhawk game, has one of the better voices and can really hold a note. The Blackhawk tradition, which started in 1985, is to cheer at the top of your lungs throughout the song.
Perfectly-times, a flight of four military jets made a flyover right at the end.
Even though I am not sure I liked it, it sure was different.
This can sure fire up your team and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again this Sunday.
