Omigosh!! SNOW!!!

A couple hours ago, I was out taking video and photos of our first snowfall of the year here in northeast Illinois. And, our boat is still at the marina so need to pick it up and get it out to the barn in Hebron, Illinois, where we keep it during the summer.

Well, in truth, there wasn't much to it. A flurry really. A little bit stuck, but should melt real soon. Got some shots of the burning bushes which still have their red leaves with snow on them. Usually, the leaves are long gone before the first snow.

It sure got cold yesterday. Reckon winter is on its way.

I need to get the rest of the front porch, deck, patio and gazebo furniture in now as well.

And, hey, there are still the outside Christmas decorations to get up.

Oh, yes, I have to put gas in the snow blower and see if it works.

JUST ABOUT DONE WITH THE PARAPROSDOKIAN SENTENCES: A plane is something that leaves on time unless you're on it. It especially leaves on time if you're running late because of traffic on the way to the airport or problems at security.
