Coping With Winter

We're not letting this lousy winter get us down. THURSDAY, FEB. 6TH: Donovan's Reef in Twin Lakes for a movie and Italian beef meal. Then to Tommy's and Antonio's in Spring Grove. //// FRIDAY, FEB. 7TH: To Dirty Rooster in Antioch, Il., for 50 cent tacos, then met up with friends at the Legion. ///// SATURDAY, FEB. 8TH: Stayed home all day. I don't like driving when it's snowing. Way too slippery and you never know what idiots are out there driving around. Plus, someone's got to clear the driveway and sidewalk and it sure won't be the snowmobilers. We had planned on going over to the Route 12 Bar and Grill in Fox Lake to watch a favorite local band perform. //// SUNDAY, FEB. 9TH: Bloody Mary and chili at Main Street in Twin Lakes, Donovan's Reef, and tamales at Antonio's.
