Beatles Today

Sad that there are only two Beatles left, but it was great to see the two of them performing onstage together at the Grammys. The last time they had done that was in a 2010 concert when McCartney sang "Birthday" to celebrate Ringo's 70th birthday. Before that, the last time was 2009 and they reunited in 2002 for a memorial concert for George Harrison. //// Paul McCartney won four Grammys at the recent show. All four Beatles received Lifetime Achievement Awards and I was happy to see Yoko Ono and her son Sean (John's son) and Olivia Harrison there to accept for their late husbands. //// I'll definitely be watching CBS tomorrow at 7 PM, for the Grammy Salute and the Letterman interview. Looking forward to hearing what Terri Hemmert is going to do on her Breakfast With the Beatles show on WXRT from 8-10 AM CST. Plus, if Bob Stroud is off his vacation, his Rock and Roll Roots show on WDRV tomorrow from 7 to 10 AM should be a good one as well. //// Fifty Years Ago to the Day and Time. --RoadDog
