Beatles Anniversary Yesterday

As I expected, Bob Stroud featured the 50th anniversary on his Rock and Roll Roots show on WDRV, the Drive, in Chicago. Great show as usual with lots of information and Beatle songs. He played the first three Ed Sullivan songs and closed with the last two. //// Meanwhile, over at WXRT FM, Chicago's Finest Rock, Terri Hemmert, probably Beatle Fan Primo, broadcast her Breakfast With the Beatles show from New York City where she has been the last week, soaking up all the Beatle stuff. Talk about your "Busman's Holiday." Professor Moptop went into great detail on what was on the Ed Sullivan Show that night in two different segments (usually he only does one). I recorded Breakfast With the Beatles and will be listening to it this week as it runs opposite Rock and Roll Roots. You can hear podcasts of Professor Moptop's show at WXRT or on his own site. //// --RoadDog
