Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

A Musician You Should Know: Graham Gouldman

From Wikipedia.

I heard Little Steven talking about this guy on his Underground Garage Show a while back.  I'd never heard of him before, but sure knew about things he's done.

Born May 10, 1946, an English songwriter, musician and member of 10 CC.  Played in many Manchester, England, bands in the 1960s.

Wrote "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul" for the Yardbirds.

Wrote "Bus Stop" and "Look Through Any Window" for the Hollies.  ("Look Through Any Window" might have been the first 45 I ever bought.)

Wrote "Mo Milk Today" and "Listen People" for Herman's Hermits.

Had a bad experience writing Bubble Gum Music for Kasentz-Katz, but did write one of my favorites of that genre, "Sausalito (Is the Place to Go."

All of the above songs are particular favorites of mine.

Founded and was a member of 10CC from 1972-1983.
