WLS Best Top 20 Selling #1 Records 1960-September 4, 1964-- Part 1

From the September 4, 1964, WLS Silver Dollar Survey.

WLS became a pop music station in 1960, so this was their best ever songs over the five year period of time.  No big surprise, the Beatles had the top three spots.

1.  I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND--  Beatles (Jan.-Feb. '64)
2.  SHE LOVES YOU--  Beatles (March '64)
3. TWIST & SHOUT--  Beatles (March and April '64)

4.  DOMINIQUE--  Singing Nun ('63)
5.  I CAN'T STOP LOVIN' YOU--  Ray Charles (June '62)
6.  SHERRY--  Four Seasons (Sept. '62)
7.  LOVE ME DO--  Beatles (May/June '64)

8.  RAG DOLL--  Four Seasons (July '64)
9.  SUKIYAKI--   Kyu Sakamoto (May-June '63)
10.  SOLDIER BOY--  Shirelles (May '62)

Four Beatle Songs!  --RoadDog
