PRINCE, 57, Died April 21, 2016.
This was a real surprise, considering his age.
I sure enjoyed a lot of his music, especially after he came out with "The Purple Rain" movie and soundtrack. Plus, the songs "Little Red Corvette" and "1999" which sure got a lot of play New year's Eve 1999 and 2000.
I have quite a few albums and CDs of his music.
We were driving to Missouri for the Munger-Moss Motel anniversary celebration when we heard "Purple Rain" on WJEZ in Pontiac, Illinois, when the deejay told us that Prince had died.
This has been quite a bad year for music deaths, but I guess we are all getting quite a bit older.
Being an account of some things I'm interested in, what I'm doing, and reflections on my past, especially music.
Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.
