WLS Top 40 Survey for May 13, 1966-- Part 5: ""Eight Miles High"

20.  I AM A ROCK--  Simon & Garfunkel

19.  THE SUN AIN'T GONNA SHINE--  Walker Brothers    Went to #13 Billboard.  Bubbled Under Top 100 in 1965 for Frankie Valli.  L.A. pop group featuring blue-eyed soul.  Three of them and not one a brother.

18.  BARMAN AND HIS GRANDMOTHER--  Dickie Goodman    Went to #70 on Billboard.  All those songs in "break-in news" style.  A little bit of this song went a long way, especially the opera singer.

17.  EVOL NOT LOVE--  5 Americans    Originally from Oklahome.  Their biggest hits were "Western Union (#5-1967) and "Zip Code" (#52-1967) which came out shortly after we got zip code.

16.  EIGHT MILES HIGH--  Byrds    Drug song?
