Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

WLS Top 30 for Week of April 12, 1971-- Part 4: 'Chick-A-Boom'

Yep, that would make this fifty years ago.  A long time even in dog years.

*  Means it is climbing the charts.

15.  *CHICK-A-BOOM--  Daddy Dewdrop     #9   Come on.  You know you love this song and are probably singing it right now, don't you know.  A true AM One Hit Wonder, but what a wonder.  Real name Richard Monda.  His only ever Top 100 song.

14.  *NO LOVE AT ALL--  B.J. Thomas    #16     Joe South wrote it.

13.  *STAY AWHILE--  Bells      #7   A Canadian group that went to #1 in Canada and this was their only U.S. hit.  Talk about your bedroom voices.   Wonder what they were doing?

12.  *PUT YOUR HAND IN THE HAND--  Ocean     #2    Proof that Jesus was groovy in the 1970s.  Great Christian music.  I put this one right up there with "Spirit in the Sky."

11.  *NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE--  Jackson Five      #2    He was just 11, don't you know.   Their first six songs charted #1s and #2s.  This was the last of the first six songs.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "Of The Man From A-Galilee."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
