JSS: Lollapalooza-- No Movies This Week-- No Yard Work Either

JSS--  Just Some Stuff.

1.  LOLLAPALOOZA--  Wednesday, the Chicago Tribune printed the three day line up of performances as the upcoming Lollapalooza shows which will run on Chicago's Grant Park from July 31-August 2nd this year.  This is its 11th year.  And it is a big one.  I have never been and don't plan to go this year.  One reason is the $110 daily tickets.

But a big reason is that I don't know hardly any of the bands.  This year, I only recognize six of the 130 artists: Paul McCartney, St. Paul & the Broken Bones (Beach Music), Alabama Shakes, Metallica, Sam Smith and Florence and the Machine.

Have I gotten that far out of the loop?

2.  NO MOVIES THIS WEEK--  Evidently the schools around here are out for Spring Break.  That means parents use theaters for babysitting.  Get the varmints out of the house and off their smart phones.

3.  NO YARD WORK EITHER--  Well, we had about five inches of snow on Monday and it has been cold and blustery since then.
