This man wrote or cowrote a lot of my favorite songs, including:

Johnny Angel-- Shelly Fabares 1962
Tracy-- Cufflinks 1969
Playground In My Mind-- Clint Holmes
He even wrote songs for TV's Sesame Street:
My Polliwog Way-- Kermit the Frog
Transylvania Love Call-- Count von Count
My Rock-- Bert
And, I had never heard of him.
