40th Anniversary Summer of '77-- Part 4: "Couldn't Get It Right"

This past Sunday, Bob Stroud had The Summer of '77 Part 2 on his Rock and Roll Roots show on Chicago's WDRV, 97.1 FM, the Drive.  This was my 4th summer as a teacher in Round Lake, Illinois and our third summer in our new house in Round Lake Beach.  I still had not decided to become a deejay, but deejays were really starting to get popular in local bars.

SIR DUKE--  Stevie Wonder   Had been #1 song in Chicago on June 11, 1977
TIME IS RUNNING OUT--  Stevie Winwood
COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT--  Climax Blues Band

I'M A ROADRUNNER--  Peter Frampton
SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED--  Peter Frampton    This guy really did a great job on these two Motown songs.
HEARD IT IN A LOVE SONG--  Marshall Tucker Band    As good as Southern Rock gets.

EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS--  Supertramp
LIDO SHUFFLE--  Boz Scaggs    Never sure if  it is Skaggs or Scaggs.
JAMMING--  Bob Marley   One of the first reggae songs I'd ever heard.  I liked it.

Name That Tune (from above songs):  "I Ain't Ever Been With a Woman Long Enough."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
