Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

4th'en It-- Part 1: Boat's Finally In the Water!!!

We sure enjoyed ourselves this past 4th of July Weekend, starting last Thursday.

THURSDAY, JUNE 29

Another big rain last night.  Cutting the grass will be no fun once it dries out.  A real good Ten at Ten today back to 1971, a fun college year for me split between NIU and UGA.

Weather remained sketchy at best, one of those will it rain or won't it.  I did get some yardwork done, though.

It cleared up enough that we decided this would be the time to finally launch the boat, which we did at the American Legion on Nippersink Lake.  The boat ran well as I took it across the lake and then to Fox Lake to the channel by Rick's place and we tied up.  Great to FINALLY get the boat in the water.

Dropped the trailer off at Kora's for the season (our subdivision doesn't allow boats or trailers in driveways) and then we went to Donovan's Reef in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.

So Great to Finally Have the Boat in the Water.  Let the Summer Boating Season Begin!!  --RoadDog

YOU'RE DRINKING TOO MUCH COFFEE WHEN:  People get dizzy just watching you.
