Saturday, while driving over to the Fox Lake Historical Society meeting, I saw gas at the BP station was still at $3.48. Right down US-12, the Phillips 66 was at $3.70!!! Yesterday, it was at $3.48!! Uh-oh, better top-off.
Did a quick turn-around and filled up at $3.48 (still a rip, but better than $3.70). Gas at other stations in Fox lake was also $3.70.
Those GRB Axis of Evil (Big Oil, speculators and Middle East)folks are really putting it to us!!
On the way home, the BP station was at $3.70 as I had expected.
Excuse me, but a 22 cent increase in a manner of hours is just a bit too much. Of course, that gas in their tanks cost them additional money or is just an attempt to make-some-money by using crises? Inquiring minds want to know.
Just wait until Big Oil has to give their quarterly profits. There is a good chance that they'll be pretty big. You think?
