Here in North Carolina-- Part 1: Just Flew In and Are My Arms Tired

MARCH 21ST-- MONDAY: A FLYING I DO GO

Flew out of Milwaukee's Billy Mitchell Field on Continental and with a layover in Cleveland. Had to bypass a storm system out of Cleveland which added some time on the flight to Raleigh-Durham.

Brother Bob and wife Judy picked me up at the RDU and drove me to Goldsboro. Along the way, wee solved all the problems of the world.

Gas here was $3.50 to $3.60, about as bad as at home.

MARCH 22ND-- TUESDAY: WARM and FOOD

Sure enjoyed the 80 degree temps today, especially when it was 36 today at home. Brother Bob and I went to B&G's for lunch. It is downtown Goldsboro, just of Center Street and quite popular. Lunch specials are $6.50 (with tax) and include main course, two sides, hushpuppies and drink. Today was either meatloaf or chicken pastry.

Also went to Sam's Club (since Bob belongs to it).

Took a walk around Herman Park, across the street from my mom's and Bob's place. The Weil family gave it to the City of Goldsboro back 1890.

Good to Be Back in Carolina. --RoadDog
