Where Were You March 6, 1965?-- Part 3

ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT-- KINKS-- (As much as I liked them back then, I am liking them even more in the last couple years.)
THIS DIAMOND RING-- GARY LEWIS & THE PLAYBOYS-- their first hit, the first of many. (One of the great intros of all time and a song that takes me back right away.)

NO REPLY-- BEATLES-- Two songs from the Fab Four's latest album we had, Beatles '65 which came out right before Christmas. This one opened the LP.
EVERYBODY'S TRYING TO BE MY BABY-- BEATLES-- This one closed the LP. An old Carl Perkins Rockabilly classic so aptly handled by George. (My favorite Beatles music was what took place before Sgt. Pepper's.)

TELL HER NO-- ZOMBIES-- Their follow up to "She's Not There."
BABY PLEASE DON'T GO-- THEM-- brand new with a kid named Van Morrison fronting the band.

Still More '65 to Go. --RoadDog
