Going Back to the Music of March 1965

From the Book of Hit Singles by Dave McAleer.

These are some songs that were hot back in March 1965 that Bob Stroud did not play.

THE BIRDS AND THE BEES-- Jewel Akens
THE JOLLY GREEN GIANT-- Kingsmen (Ho, Ho, Ho, No Louie Here.)
RED ROSES FOR A BLUE LADY-- Bert Kaempfert
HURT SO BAD-- Little Anthony and the Imperials

DOWNTOWN-- Petula Clark
THE BOY FROM NEW YORK CITY-- Ad Libs (While the Tradewinds were saying new York's a Lonely town when you're the only surfer boy.)
LITTLE THINGS-- Bobby Goldsboro (One of his few songs that don't gag me, the worst being "Honey.")
COME HOME-- Dave Clark Five (Don't know that I've ever heard this one.)
PEOPLE GET READY-- Impressions

Good Memories. --RoadDog
