This past weekend to last night was another good one, with yardwork every day (and I do enjoy yardwork when the yard does not hurt me) and then plenty of time for libations and good times.
FRIDAY, June 24th-- Almost got to go boating, but ended up at Gasoline Alley's deck overlooking Grasslake and playing the jukebox.
SATURDAY, June 25th-- Car show at the local Dog 'N Suds with Affects band (50s-60s) set up in the parking lot, Fox Lake Lakefront Music Night at Nippersink Lake (but band on break), Captain's Quarters on Fox Lake to see the Wads (classic Rock Band) playing outside.
SUNDAY, June 26th-- Bob Stroud's Rock and Roll Roots Summer Show, Gazebo Time, Ultimate Bloody Marys at Main Street in Twin Lakes, Wis., Soda (band) playing outside at Captain's on Fox Lake and more Gazebo Time.
MONDAY, June 27th-- Gambler Bar and Grill in downtown McHenry for drinks and burgers, Green Street Cruise Night featuring Pony Cars (saw a '67 Firebird, my favorite car), Centerfold band playing on trailer, old bookstore and pizza chips at TommyZ's on the Riverwalk.
