Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Going Back to the Summer of 1971-- Part 2

Forty years ago! Has it been that long?

DON'T KNOCK MY LOVE-- WILSON PICKETT-- still making his presence known in the seventies, the Wicked Pickett.
DRAGGING THE LINE-- TOMMY JAMES-- solo at this time. Starting to climb the charts with what was to be his biggest solo hit.

NEVER-ENDING SONG OF LOVE-- husband and wife team
FLIGHT 609-- CHICAGO-- Everybody was striving for that Crosby, Stills and Nash vibe, including Chicago from their newly released third album, Chicago III.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN-- CSNY-- From their newly-released double live album, Four-Way Street.
YOURS IS NO DISGRACE-- YES-- Lead off track from their new album released in February. The first two albums sort of got by us, but not this one with new guitarist Steve Howe.

TREAT HER LIKE A LADY-- CORNELIUS BROTHERS & SISTER ROSE-- First of four hits for them.
HIGH TIME WE WENT-- JOE COCKER--

Take Me Back. --RoadDog

LIVING NEAR CHICAGO...Although many expressways (they are not freeways) have posted speed limits of 55, the minimum acceptable speed limit is 85. Anything less...get the heck out of the left lane.
