How Hot Was It? How Cold Did It Get?

Earlier this week, it was hot. I mean hot enough to start sweating while sitting and doing nothing. Believe me, it wasn't much fun working out in the yard Monday to Wednesday.

Then Saturday, we were sitting out at the Kellehers' End-of-the-School-Year Party on Fox Lake and being very thankful for the wind. Otherwise, people would have begun melting.

However, that night, some really bad storms rolled in, causing much wind damage north of us. With it, came the cold. When we drove to Donovan's since I wasn't able to work in the yard, we had to be wearing jeans and sweatshirts. I mean, it was VERY Cold and that wind just bit through you.

The Milwaukee stations said there was a 40 degree difference between the temps at 4:30 Wednesday and Thursday.

Today, it has been raining and is still cool as I get ready to go out to the Legion and help with the VA hospital fishing tournament.
