Gas Prices on the Rise

Drove into Round Lake Beach, Illinois, today and saw that prices had risen to $4.20 in town. Gas at the BP in Fox Lake was at $4.10 and later bought gas for $4.10 in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.

So, Big Oil and their Axis are pushing up the price again. Here's hoping it gets to the ridiculous price of $6 to $10 a gallon, and hopefully closer to the latter. It is going to take something that ridiculous to get the United States and other countries to unite and end the free market economy at least on that commodity. A set price, say $30 or $40 a barrel, needs to be put in place.

However, I fear that the Evil Axis will just raise it a little, then let is drop back to $3.50, still a lot more than they were getting last year this time. Again, though, these are extremely GRBs and I think the thought of all that money might cause them to overlook a sensible gas gouge and go for the really big money.

And remember, it should soon be time for the Big Oil companies to release their quarterly profits. Even with the creative accounting that is sure to take place, these profits are going to be huge. Liar's proof.

Really looking forward to those profits.
